Can you believe it has already been a year? look here. All I can say is life comes at you fast. It not fair that the older you get, the faster time goes by. I wish someone would reverse that for me. I want time to start slowing down. NOW PLEASE!

More Baby Love: Utah baby photography

This session was done in honor of this little one's blessing day (LDS Religious Practice). She wore a beautiful heirloom dress with matching shoes. I love the idea of passing a blessing dress down through generations for all the baby girls to wear on their special day. This was a fun session. We worked in all natural light, using a my north facing windows and porch area. I really like the soft girly look that was achieved.

This little darlin is wearing an heirloom dress crafted by her maternal great grandmother. Lucky me that I got to capture her as she displayed the beautiful handi-work. I really like how the color of the dress looks with her hair and eyes. precious, if you ask me.

Here's some recent shots of my baby girl in her blessing gown(crocheted by my aunt), with her blessing blanket(crocheted by My Grandma), and wearing her 'blessing fascinator' (Hair piece made by me).

In our church we give little baby's a 'blessing' in the first few months of life. Little Girl had hers when she was 3 months old.

Just Hanging Out: Utah Baby Photography

Well, my baby girl is 2 months old. It's about time to get back to work (cough. . . play). I won't be rusty, I keep up my skills by practicing on her all day :) Do you think that she'll grow to hate the camera or just ignore it? My little boy ignored it for a while and now that he is 2 he loves the camera and takes his own awesome shots (with mommy stabilizing the Nikon). Maybe we'll post some of his pictures up here sometime. That'd be fun. For now enjoy. . . baby girl Taylor, 2 months old.
