My Baby is ONE: Utah Child Photographer

My little man is ONE. Time goes by so quickly. For his one year photo shoot I followed him around the house for a few hours in the afternoon. He loves to go in his room and read books, he also loves to get on his rocking chair and rock (only with supervision of course).

At his party I took these pictures of him digging into his cake made by Raven.
I love the clean (messy) look of the cake pictures.
He is beautiful, of course I am biased because he is mine.

I know you won't believe me: his eyes are NOT photoshoped. He is just facing a window that is shedding beautiful natural light into his baby blues and making them pop out!

Reading his books in his room. . . sigh!

Oh how I love this little one. My heart melts looking at these pictures.

BOYS boys BoYs bOys: Utah Child Photographer

I was able to catch up with an old friend while taking pictures of her adorable boys. It got me thinking that time goes by way to quickly. . . seriously. My theory is that the older you get the faster time flies by, it's exponential growth. I think that my friend wins "Most AWESOME Mom" award for letting her little boys get muddy at the end of the shoot, it made my day to take pictures of two cute little boys being. . .well, BOYS!

Urban ala' Blue: Utah Family Photographer

This shoot was planned at a different location but because of rain we had to move. I am secretly glad that we ended up shooting here instead, because I have a current obsession with brick walls and old windows. I don't know If I will ever get over it, I have old windows hanging up as decorations in my house. There may be a deep insightful reason that I am drawn to old windows and old buildings. . .hmm I'll let you think on that.

This shoot was really cool, the fam was silly and creative (I wish I could post all the pics). They were scaling walls and climbing on trucks. What a great opportunity for me to also get creative and just enjoy getting to know new people. Not to mention they brought two lovely princesses with them, one brunette and one blond!

I love that Blue Wall--- hence the 'wana-be-french' title.

I am in love with this angle! My new favorite shot, LOVE IT!

I'm not sure whether I should post this on my blog. It's a little too hot to handle. . .hmmm

Urban Chic Family: Utah Family Photographer

I really like the urban edge in these shots. It was fun to try some wild angles and really focus on composition. This family was great and their little boys cracked me up.
look at how pretty she looks, surrounded by her men.

I love how she is looking right at the camera, and her hubby is looking at her. She looks gorgeous, and look at those fun shoes.

Thank you for a fun and artistic shoot!
