New To This World Take II: Utah Newborn Photography
Did you like the last newborn session that I posted? I did, and I got to do another newborn session last Saturday. And guess what? He was also BE-A-Utiful. Here's a secret. . . these two little guys are cousins, born only weeks apart (apparently beauty runs in the genetic code of this family). This little one was very easy going and sweet I really enjoyed getting to Know T & T & R better that morning. Anyways, here's to the miracle of new life. Enjoy these lovely photographs.
Session favorite below: LOVE it :)
ahh, what a sweet profile, I love his baby-nose.
It's hard to tell, but notice how long this little guy is. . . future in the NBA perhaps?
Let it be know that beautiful people (on the inside and out) make beautiful babies.

New to This World: Utah Newborn Photography
This is one of the prettiest newborns that I have ever met (you can say 'pretty' for boys under 3 = my blog, my rules). He really is quite stunning. He was very polite and we made some very sweet photographs of him using natural window light and patience. Thanks M and C & T for making me totally baby hungry again. If I have a 3rd child anytime sooner than later. . . I blame all 3 of you.
This next photo is so sweet. I LOVE his tiny-ness.
This boy loves his hands. . . yum.
a yawn. . . how cute is that?

Just one day old: Utah Newborn Photography

I love a good newborn session. This little guy was so sweet and easy to work with. He was less than 24 hrs old in these photos. It's amazing how small newborns are. I love the wrinkly feet they have. I really liked the personal items that his parents thought to included in the hospital session. Look how tiny he is next to that football! It's always a special experience to see a new family grow with the birth of a little one. This mom and dad were so sweet and fun, I think they will be fabulous parents. You could tell that they both had big hearts full of adoration for their little boy.

Peaceful: Utah Newborn Photography at The Hospital
Remember this fun picture:

Here are a few more of this adorable new baby girl. I have never seen so much hair. In fact, that's the first thing that was said in the room when she made her debut. . ."look at all that hair."
These pictures were taken less than 24 hours after she was born, in her hospital room.
See her Birth Story Here.

She is just gorgeous.

My New Favorite Thing, Birth Story Photography: Utah Birth Story Photographer

This couple was darling, and so excited to welcome their new baby girl into the world. I am so glad that they thought of me when searching for a birth story photographer. Having born two children, I believe that we are closest to God when a new life is brought into the world. For me, it is a moment for reverence and awe. I was so blessed to be a part of this family's miracle moment. I also loved switching gears and focusing on 'telling a story', rather than getting a 'good shot' it was completely candid, and pure. I love the images that were captured, the emotions portrayed, and the artistic challenge that the lighting, and subject matter presented. Many of these images are my new favorites.
Check out this blog to hear their story.
And you may view this G-Rated slide show if you would like to see more images. It is fairly-high-resolution so go ahead and hit full-screen, to get the full effect :)
Are you weepy yet? NO? . . . you're not human (Just kidding).
FYI: I do cry when I watch birth story slide shows, so don't feel bad if you do too.
