Finally I can post these pictures! It's taken me a while to get caught up after the holidays.
This adorable family was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple in December. I loved having the opportunity to photograph such a special occasion. This family is so fun and so easy going. It's easy to make photographs with them :)
Thanks for having me there!

Something Blue: Utah Wedding Photography
Yes, I am finally getting caught up on my editing. . . here are some wedding photographs I made last November. This is my family (My husband's dad and his new wife), and this was a super cold, very windy, but fabulous day. I actually had labrynthitis while shooting. . . luckily I was able to get through the events with the help of my hubs. I had to take vertigo medicine. . . and close my eyes in the elevators, after going down the stairs, and while driving (as a passenger---don't worry).
I would not, however, recommend practicing photography with labrynthitis :) My random health issue aside, I think we came out with some pretty pictures, especially for such a blustery day.

I love this next one, he is already mystified by 'the women' in his life:

Merry Christmas: Self Portrait and Christmas Tree
me

Santa is my son's favorite ornament this year

and I love these handmade crochet snowflakes that my aunt gave our family several years ago. I love to look at their intricacy and am amazed at the skill that went into creating them.

My Last Shoot of the Year: Utah Family Photography

Look carefully behind mom's head in the picture below. . . and in the next one he was caught!

So for the next few months I'll be taking a little break from photography, to regroup, and get things in order in my house, and enjoy the holidays with a little less 'to-do's' This was an awesome session to end the year with. This family was a joy to be around and had a great sense of humour. Their shots turned out so pretty with all the fall leaves on the ground.

Smiles, Giggles, and Lovely Yellow: Utah Family Photography
This session was up American Fork Canyon. I am pretty sure this area (all of upper AF Canyon) is my new favorite location for fall pictures. The yellow leaves are so bright and vibrant and make for such a pretty backdrop. I was a little liberal with allowing sun flare, backlight and warm rays to wash over the lens for these photographs. I wanted to capitalize on the yellow hues and create some sunny pictures. The kids were so fun, they were so good and smiled plenty. Some of their sibling shots are my favorite sibling shots I have ever taken.

I think the mountain makes for a cool backdrop below.

I think this next couple picture is so cute. I love how natural it is.
