A Little Product Photography of one of my favorite products: Trendography Prints
These are the coolest kid-friendly art prints around. As a former teacher of young children I adore how these prints incorporate symbols (word, letters, shapes, and numbers) and bright colors to create an enriching art piece. The prints are sufficiently interesting for children and yet not 'overstimulating.' They help create a print rich environment in your home for fostering early literacy skills. And besides that. . . they are super fun and stylin'
And for us adults that need to get organized. . .these prints, framed or laminated are simply genius:
My current favorite print:
And besides the fact that these prints are uber-awesome on many levels. Wendy, the designer behind them is one of the most talented and generous people I have ever met. I love working with/and learning from her.

Peaceful: Utah Newborn Photography at The Hospital
Remember this fun picture:
Here are a few more of this adorable new baby girl. I have never seen so much hair. In fact, that's the first thing that was said in the room when she made her debut. . ."look at all that hair."
These pictures were taken less than 24 hours after she was born, in her hospital room.
See her Birth Story Here.
She is just gorgeous.

My New Favorite Thing, Birth Story Photography: Utah Birth Story Photographer
This couple was darling, and so excited to welcome their new baby girl into the world. I am so glad that they thought of me when searching for a birth story photographer. Having born two children, I believe that we are closest to God when a new life is brought into the world. For me, it is a moment for reverence and awe. I was so blessed to be a part of this family's miracle moment. I also loved switching gears and focusing on 'telling a story', rather than getting a 'good shot' it was completely candid, and pure. I love the images that were captured, the emotions portrayed, and the artistic challenge that the lighting, and subject matter presented. Many of these images are my new favorites.
Check out this blog to hear their story.
And you may view this G-Rated slide show if you would like to see more images. It is fairly-high-resolution so go ahead and hit full-screen, to get the full effect :)
Are you weepy yet? NO? . . . you're not human (Just kidding).
FYI: I do cry when I watch birth story slide shows, so don't feel bad if you do too.

Sweet Even at 3 (weeks): Utah newborn photography
Here are a few pictures from a recent newborn shoot. This little one was already 3 weeks old. She was sooooo very well-behaved. I was amazed. I think she looks very contemplative in these pictures. I have a few more pictures of her brothers and sister to post in the next few days. Not only was she a very well-behaved newborn, but her brothers and sister were just the same. Super nice kids. I need to know the parenting secrets of this cute family:)
